Dr. Gerd Heuschmann Symposium | Brighton, CO

May 25 - May 26

Dr. Gerd Heuschmann is a renowned expert on equine biomechanics, and he will be presenting lectures and instructing riders on the use of proper biomechanics in training. He has authored several books, including Tug of War—Classical versus “Modern” Dressage, Balancing Act: The Horse in Sport—an Irreconcilable Conflict?, Collection or Contortion?, and the film If Horses Could Speak.

Dr. Heuschmann will present a slide show lecture on biomechanics every morning, followed by practical training with students in the afternoon. Additionally, we will have a painted horse to display, showing the muscles on one side and the bones and joints on the other.

Take advantage of this exciting opportunity! Join us and discover how to help keep your horse happy, supple, and sound.

The symposium auditing fee for the weekend is $220, and auditors are recommended to attend both days for the best experience. One-day auditing is available but not recommended. The lecture portion of the symposium will be held in our loft.

If you need more information or would like to register as a rider, please get in touch with the organizer, Carrie, at (720) 312-9139 or [email protected].
